— ‘Floor’ by Do Ho Suh

I thought this was just an incredible installation by Korean artist Do Ho Suh, made of thousands of miniature plastic figures with their arms and heads turned skyward holding a glass floor.

The plastic figures are holding the weight of the individual visitor who steps onto the floor. They represent the diverse and anonymous masses of people who support and resist the symbolic floor.
